Donate to Support Our Mission
Every contribution helps Night Owl Reconnaissance advance its work in locating missing persons and strengthening public understanding of these cases. Donations directly support operational needs that turn research into real-world impact.
Where Your Donation Goes
Targeted Awareness Campaigns — Goal: $2,000
Each year, we design and distribute specialized awareness posters for individual missing person cases. These professionally produced materials are printed, shipped, and placed in specific communities where they are most likely to generate witnesses or leads. Funding helps cover printing, shipping, and placement costs, including compensating trusted individuals who distribute materials in the field. This effort supports multiple cases throughout the year and ensures that each poster reaches the right audience.
Investigative Software and Technology — Goal: $3,000
We use advanced open-source intelligence tools to identify new information, locate digital traces, and monitor ongoing developments in missing person cases. Funding supports licensing, maintenance, and upgrades for these systems, allowing our investigators to stay informed on new details or sightings long after initial research concludes.
Training and Public Education — Goal: $3,000
We are aiming to modernize our volunteer training program and create a public-access version that teaches ethical, effective open-source investigation for missing person cases. Funding helps update course materials, improve delivery, and expand access so more people can learn the skills needed to assist responsibly. As part of this effort, we plan to host public training events at community spaces such as libraries, civic centers, and local organizations to help the public and law enforcement better understand how information sharing and open-source research can aid missing person investigations.
Community Outreach and Engagement — Goal: $2,000
Our outreach work connects communities to the broader issue of missing persons through local events, educational presentations, and awareness campaigns. Funding supports materials, logistics, and event participation that help us inform the public, encourage volunteerism, and foster stronger collaboration between families, advocates, and investigators.
