If you are searching for a missing adult and believe Night Owl Reconnaissance may be able to assist, we encourage you to reach out. Our team uses open-source intelligence and investigative research to support cases where accurate information and visibility are most needed.
Before submitting a request, please review the criteria below. These guidelines help ensure that our work is effective, ethical, and aligned with the methods we use.
Case Criteria
Night Owl Reconnaissance is best able to assist when the following conditions are met:
• The missing person has been gone for more than 60 days
• The individual is between the ages of 18 and 65
• There is an assigned law enforcement case number or a NamUs entry
These criteria allow us to apply our methodology effectively and ensure that cases are grounded in verified documentation. They also help us avoid overlap with specialized agencies that are better equipped to respond to certain cases.
For example, cases involving minors require legal authority and child protection protocols that are outside the scope of our organization. Cases involving older adults may include medical, cognitive, or welfare issues that warrant immediate intervention by law enforcement or health professionals.
If your case falls outside these guidelines but you still want to discuss it with us, you are welcome to reach out. We review each inquiry as thoughtfully as possible and can often provide direction, resources, or referrals when appropriate.
